Thinking about what I'll do in this project.
I'd like to take part in a whole range of artistic collaborations and process, with whoever will work with me. Music and singing I enjoy. Making things, work with objects (Deb's lost things)
I may have to choose!
In some contexts I'd like to be told what to do and in others I'd like to tell other people what to do.
I am a performer- a clown as I say - so I would like space to develop performance work from the inside- both alone and group performance with others. I'd like to develop the work Hilary and I have already done (lots) with Gill, around theatre using gesture, both abstracted and in context, mask, physicality, objects, and more, with others' practice
I feel very strongly about the whole piece and how I'd like it to work.
So I would also like to direct and shape the final performance from everyone else's ideas, inputs and pieces. I will continue to present provocations and will be prepared to be the person to choose or edit work
I will also go a long way down the funding/ producer route if needed and so that's enough for now. I don't like heights so won't be very good if something has to be hung up in a high place, and I don't get electricity.

Well, thanks to everyone last night. There is a real group feel to the thing now I think.
What am I up for? I would like very much to continue working with Celine and Lisa with their projections and movements and also with Anne.
Either with them and/or others, I would like to develop one of the modules in the space as a camera obscura in which performance (I'm thinking dance) may be viewed, with room to move between outside to inside for both performers and audience. I think the upside-down-ness of the image which plays onto all surfaces inside could be a rich source for dance/movement. There are some technical issues which will need addressing, as well as a need for daylight!
Otherwise I would like to continue documenting the project and I would very much like to be able to do this on any side/development sessions that people may set up in smaller groups as well, so keep me posted!
I have really been enjoying photographing all of you, especially last night and would like to develop that in some way, whether more formal portraits, artists-in-studios or just as we have been I'm not sure. I know there's a studio at the S of A which might be an option on that Sunday...?
Oh and I'll be taking some pictures of Deb's lovely sewing machine.
Other than that, I'm open to suggestion.
I'm the world's least likely performer, so anything on that front would have to be gently, gently...
Cake-making will resume!

- would love to perform as a dancer or percussionist or drag queen (!!!) or just as myself (the one you don't call a performer ;) )... but not as a clown (not ready for it yet !) ... but would love to try to make people laugh in any theater workshop ...
- of cours, I want to keep collaborating with Eleonor, Lisa and Anne, working toward using video, performance and projection (I include camera obscura in that)
- if we work by groups : I would like to see what people are doing and ask them "annoying" questions (basically : I want to know what everyone is doing and how and why etc ...)
- if not too much work, I would be very interested in reflecting on the overall making process (from a subjective point of view)... which I'm already trying to do in my blog but I'm thinking of producing drawings (like the Medusa/Buddha one)that would come as summaries of my feelings and ideas about the whole thing ... They could come along Rebecca and Eleonor's documentary work or be part of the final piece.
- I can make cakes too and collaborate with Eleonor : making a chocolate cake when she makes a banana one, for example ;) !!
I would like to perform and make things, but I can't start until I know where we will be working
ooopsss darkflea is me Hilary, just another life I have.
I would like to make items / things / objects and spaces to complement and influence the performances and stories. At the moment my thoughts are on aprons and slogans / words, dishcloths, stains and dust / fluff, maintenance and routine, unravelling, maps, human bodies and minds.I am relatively happy (ish) to perform, move, dance (ish). All in all looking forward to working with everyone to unravel Marias story and just happy to be part of the experiment. x x x
